Sales Quotation Specialist

Netria is looking for a Sales Quotation Specialist to help the sales team continue to hit their sales quotas and remain profitable. In this role you will indirectly grow revenue and gross profit margins through selecting the best vendor, managing costs of products, freight and communicating costs and suggested sell prices to the sales team. This role will not be responsible for a monthly quota but will have KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) including but not limited to: quote turnaround time frame, Gross Profit Margin %, quoting consistency, reducing return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and fostering a positive customer and vendor experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support a team of AE’s by generating quotes with competitive costs

  • Work with the Sales Manager to ensure quoting best practices

  • Facilitate all quoting activities

  • Negotiate costs with vendors when applicable

  • Ensure product availability and delivery lead times from vendors/partners

  • Ensure continual improvement of quoting process

  • Establish suggested sell price based on established pricing models set by management for each customer

  • Ensure quotes have the quickest possible turnaround time – working towards meeting our Service Level

 

Agreement (SLA) of 2 hours

  • Clean data entry of quotes into Sage CRM

  • Must be able to manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet expected timelines

  • Have understanding of maintaining and increasing profit percentages

  • Must work on strengthening relationships with vendors to ensure best pricing

Experience Needed:

  • 1+ year of experience with a CRM (client relationship management) tool.

  • 1+ year of experience quoting or estimating freight/shipping, online sales or technology products

  • Experience supporting sales from a sales administration perspective or indirect sales channel

  • Positive attitude, organized, strong work ethic and detail oriented

Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play an important role in enabling the inside sales team to exceed their goals and objectives. In this role, you will prospect via cold calling/email and generate sales leads and appointments for the inside sales team. Additionally, the Sales Development Representative will be tasked with further qualifying opportunities generated from internal marketing initiatives and web leads. The Sales Development Representative will be positioning solutions to various types of contacts within an organization. We are looking for someone with a competitive spirit, who is a self-starter with a positive attitude and has a desire to succeed. This role is a stepping-stone to our inside sales team with excellent earning potential and opportunities for advancement. The intent for any Sales Development Representative who continuously exceeds their goals and objectives is for them to be transitioned to the inside sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build the right foundation for a future career in sales.

Essential Job Functions & Qualifications:

  • Ability to generate and qualify sales leads through outbound calling/email

  • Ability to identify decision makers and customer’s needs while positioning features, benefits and value

  • Ability to overcome objections

  • Good technical aptitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the Internet

  • Working experience with CRM software is helpful but not essential 

Duties:

  • Proactively prospect for sales leads with the intent to generate net-new business opportunities for the inside sales team

  • Further qualify inbound inquiries

  • Over 100 outbound calls a day

  • Capture lead details and marketing intelligence for internal purposes
